Is Drive Shack plans to build a three-story golf venue in Phoenix?

Top Golf will soon have some competition in the West Valley.

That's because Drive Shack revealed Tuesday its plans to build a three-tier, 60,000-square-foot entertainment golf venue near 99th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, just west of the Loop 101 and University of Phoenix Stadium.

In fact, Top Golf will be on the northeast corner of the intersection (technically, Glendale) while Drive Shack will be on the southwest corner within Aldea Centra, a new development from John F. Long Properties (technically, Phoenix).

Drive Shack will have 96 bays where people can play games and hit computerized golf bąlls onto a driving range, according to a news release. There will also be a restaurant and bar, game lounge and event space. Read more at ABC15 Arizona.
