when will the menendez brothers be released from prison?

The Menendez brothers will spend the rest of their lives in prison.

As per ABC News, they were convicted of first-degree murder on March 20, 1996, and sentenced to two consecutive life prison terms without the possibility of parole. Over the next decade, they appealed their case up to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals but were denied each time.

Today, Lyle said he has "accepted" his prison sentence and spends his days focused on keeping a good quality of life behind bars.

Lyle, now 49 (born January 10, 1968), is serving his sentence at Mule Creek State Prison while Erik Menendez, now 46 (born November 27, 1970), is serving his sentence at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in California. According to Lyle, his brother works with terminally ill and physically challenged inmates.
